Hair Care Instructions
Remember Dolls your hair is an investment and it should be
treated as such. Treat your Virgin Hair Extensions as if they were your own
hair. Please also note that all hair sheds your own hair sheds but with proper
care and maintenance you will have VERY little to extremely minimal shedding.
Be mindful that, each bundle of hair comes from a different donor, therefore
each bundle will be uniquely different. A product that you may always use or
have used in the past may not always work well with every texture or bundle of
hair. It can take a few weeks to create a regimen that works for your
hair. At about two weeks, you know if your regimen is a good one for your
extensions. If your hair is moisturized and easy to manage, its agreeing
with your regimen. If at this point your hair begins to tangle, it's an
indication that your hair isn't getting enough moisture. Also remember that
your hair is not new; someone has been successfully wearing the hair 20+ years
before you have received it. So if your hair suddenly becomes unmanageable, its
most likely due to its new regimen and not a question of the hairs quality. Our bundles are not manufactured or created. It's simply Pure
Virgin hair that has been washed and wefted .
1. To
maintain the longevity and durability of the hair it is not recommended to cut
or split the wefts of the hair. When installing one's hair please ask your
stylist to fold the wefts and not cut them. If wefts have been split or cut the
only way to reduce the excessive shedding caused but the splitting or cutting
of the wefts is to have them properly sealed.
2. Washing
your hair is a key step in the maintainace of your Virgin Extensions. As long
as your hair gets continuous moisture, you choose the right styling products,
and you keep your hair clean, it will look and feel great! When your hair
starts to get dry, tangle, look dull or even shed more than normally,
this means there is a buildup of product and/or your hair is very dry and is in
need of moisture and a deep condition. Co-wash your hair AT LEAST ONCE per week
(Co-wash meaning wash with ONLY Conditioner) and the more you do this, the more
soft, healthy and manageable your hair will become. Avoid using shampoo too
often especially if your hair is curly or feels a bit dry unless it's Necessary.
Shampoo has a tendency to be drying-especially with curlier, coarser textures.
Please avoid shampoos and conditioners with sulphate and paraffin .

When styling your curls/waves, they are
activated simply by water alone. To add continuous needed moisture, in a
spray bottle you can add a large amount of water and a small amount of
leave in conditioner (a mixture of hello hydration and the totally twisted).
You can apply this to your hair every morning or you can simply co-wash it
while showering. Always brush your hair with a wig brush or wide toothed comb,
starting from the bottom and working your way up to prevent tangling and
excessive shedding. When
applying heat to your hair, always use a quality heat protectant (Organix Flat
Iron Spray is recommended). As your own hair; your extensions will become
damaged by excessive heat. If your hair becomes heat damaged, it will lose its
natural curl/wave pattern, and/or have many damaged dry or brittle ends. Heat
damage cannot be reversed. Coarser textures and Curly hair are more prone to
heat damage and dryness.

Coloring
If you are going
to Color/Bleach your hair extensions please use a
Neutralizing Shampoo (Crème of Nature Neutralizing Shampoo Recommended). For
the 1st shampoo please let the shampoo sit in the hair for about 5 minutes wash
and shampoo again and then Deep Condition your extensions.
Never let your
hair extensions process for an hour or longer. Wait a minimum of 5 days before attempting
to lift/process your hair extensions again. Please note that just like your own hair
lifting/bleaching your hair may alter your natural curl pattern.
Steps
to Deep Condition
After
shampooing, condition ( using silicon mix or Dove Intensive Repair/Daily Moisture
recommended) once comb through then wash out then lather the hair once more
with conditioner and do not wash out. Get Ziploc bag and add water (enough to
completely cover the hair), a table spoon of extra virgin olive oil and
conditioner until the water is soapy. Place the already lathered hair in the
conditioner water close the bag tightly and place in the microwave for 1-1:30
minutes. Let hair sit in bag until the bag is cooled or overnight if you can
(recommended) then rinse with warm water and air dry
